This is weird to me, I was not like this… I have given birth twice and both natural with no epidural. The moment my babes came out I was like reaching for them and saying “give me them” straight away. All of the pain was gone, and nobody else in the room existed, I just wanted to finally hug and kiss them!

My brother had just been unalived 5 days before I went into labor and had a c-section. My son was born on what would have been my brother's 30th birthday. I don't remember any of my sons birth.

LD RN here - very normal part of birth called “taking in and taking hold” - taking in is the “wtf just happened to me” then- 3 secs to over an hour - you’re all “gimmie my beautiful baby!!!” Normal.

I hadnt this right after birth but I have during postpartum. I barely remember Kobe or KRUE’s first two months. 😩 it’s sad. I pray this last one I trauma doesn’t take those first months from me. 🤍
