After years of searching for a Christmas town just like one from a Hallmark movie; I stumbled upon Leavenworth. It took me 3 years before I could find a friend who wanted to go as well. Beautiful !

Be prepared to pay for parking except at your Hotel, be prepared to make reservations 4-6 months in advance for your Hotel. other than that, there isn't a whole lot for kids to do other than sledding
