i sometimes question myself if I should end a friendship or not with my highschool friend of 6 years. I feel like our relationship turned into a toxic one after I changed and grew up and she hasn't. I always feel like she dragged me down, and whenever I feel like that, it made me guilty. I know I needed to be by her side to guide her to grow up, but it's been 6 years and I never saw the progress and the will from her to change. Now, I just feel so drained whenever I'm with her or even just texting her and I feel guilty about it. Part of me wanted to leave, but part of me also knew she doesn't have many friends and recently she has tumor which made me even more guilty to even think of wanting to leave. I never wanted to hate her. But the me now felt like it's so draining to just be with her even if I know she means well but she's just not at the same mentality as we used to now
