they aren't mandatory, but you'll fail provincial safety inspection if they're not on your car during winter.

ppl who say you don't need different tires are wrong 😭 the winter tires are made from a different compound that performs well in cold weather but don't run them in summer because the heat is bad

I put them on first week of novemember, done me pretty good, otherwise I have all weather's on, so I feel safe if it does snow regardless, winter tires are a must!

In my Country are mandatory,fines are high.You loose your registration of the car.If you crash during winter and you don't have winter tires you lose your insurance cover as well.
