Beets are such an amazing superfood full of incredible nutrients, but they can be a bit intimidating at first😄. If you haven’t tried them yet, I highly recommend you try 1 of my 3 favorite ways to make them: Beets Salad, Beets Smoothie, or Beets Banana Muffins!😋 ✨SHARE this with a friend and don’t forget to FOLLOW for more healthy recipes & tips!🥰 For all 3 recipes you will need to first cook your beets. Air frying them is my preferred way👉🏼 I just remove the stems, wash them and place in air fryer on 350 F for ~30minutes or until you can easily poke a fork in them. Leave them to cool down then gently peel off the skin. 🥗Beets Salad: -Chop up your cooked beets into cubes  -Refrigerate until cool then add to your regular salad or have it on its own. My favorite dressing is just some olive oil, juice of a lemon (or vinegar), s&p, cumin, and crushed garlic.  🥤Beets Smoothie: In a blender add 2 beetroots, 1 large ripe banana (I prefer frozen), 1 cup unsweetened Coconut milk (or any other milk you prefer + you can add more if you like it more runny), 2 tablespoons honey/sweetener of choice (or more), a splash of vanilla extract. 🧁Beets Banana Muffins: -In a blender add: 2 cooked beets, 2 very ripe bananas, 2 eggs, 1.5 cups oats, 2 tbs tahini (or any nut/seed butter of choice), 2 tbs honey, dash of cinnamon (optional), 1 tsp baking powder, 1tsp vanilla extract, tiny splash of vinegar (to keep from browning), 1/2 cup milk of choice. -Blend until smooth then add batter into silicone cupcake liners. -Bake in preheated 350 F oven for ~25mins (check on them after 20mins, use a toothpick to see if they’re ready) ENJOY!🩷 Let me know if you try them! #healthyrecipes #beets #cleaneating #kidapprovedfood #EasyRecipes
