Wouldn’t that still make the product itself more expensive? Considering labor costs in America are higher than somewhere like China, that would mean production is more expensive so upping the cost

Yes but it’s double the price to create it in the us. Places like Walmart aren’t paying double the price to make it in country they are going to pick the cheaper option but still raise the price

it is always the consumer who pays the bill, if a 25% tariff is added, the consumer ends up paying 30-40% more for the product afterwards due to administration

the supplies to build these are still going to be tariffed, the company buying them would pay the tariff thus causing us consumers to pay more for the product.

Using Toyota as an example, has the price of Toyota trucks gone down due to manufacturing them in the US? No, prices have only continued to increase.

we wouldn't need to pay any tax if we'd stop giving country's our money and tariff more country's and run it like a business

San Antonio can testify to this personally. They built a Toyota plant here back in 2007 or 08 and we have had plenty of work because of it.

Wait that doesn’t make sense. If it’s made in America, it becomes more expensive. Then enough people won’t buy because it’s expensive as a result to recoup losses, therefore dooming the business.

Toyota builds trucks in the US because we purchase the most trucks. 75 billion in truck sales, runner up was 7.5 billion. We buy a lot of toyotas, it is cheaper to make and sell here than to import.

And where does the companies get their materials to make their products? Overseas. If it costs more to make, you will sell it for a higher price
