As someone who literally fixes cars for a living you could have went with something way older for very similar mileage that costs less and will give you less issues but big W either way

I like the duramax. it's a much better engine. the Allison transmission is the best and the real reason I went duramax, but the Ford will tow better.

Well Chevy has built the duramax since 2001. Ford has had to make 4 different diesels in the same amount of time. Duramax for the win and resale value.
