I'm going through this now. my older dog runs away from the puppy and refuses to eat, sit, and lay anywhere near my puppy. my older dog hides in my office to eat and drink. Hopefully they'll bond soon

Omg this is so cute 🥰 i have a pitbull too and i want to bring a puppy home for him too but im afraid only because he’s so big and doesn’t realize his own size sometimes he loves puppies and needs a friend to play with him he watches all the other dogs walk by and he gets over excited which makes him seem more unfriendly when he only wants to play and get their attention… he’s not very socialized because he’s a pitbull and a big one but when he’s came into contact he’s been great… no one sees the dog they only see the breed and it makes me sad for him … this gave me hope though o know he’ll love it it’s just finding one to fit in
