@fmsmith319: We MUST find ways to help Millennials and Gen Z improve our financial opportunities, education and overall financial well being Vid Insp @Steven Bartlett & Raoul Pal
My dad and mom were married and had 3 kids by the time they were 24. They had a house & got a rental at 30. They legit worked the same jobs we do today.. I haven’t even considered kids, it’s so sad..

it would be interesting to see a chart based off income gap and generation. the chart shown shows millennial as hold 13T, but does that account for the 1% passing wealth down?

While I fully agree hat Gen-x is in a better position, however, we also will be poorer than many of our parents, as many of us have boomer parents too

I live with my mom and our house is too big for me to sustain without her retirement money. My current plan when she's gone is building a skoolie RV.

And the younger generation will have it worse, be more phone addicted, more anxious, more sick, less motivated.

And the worst part of it is that I make more money than either of my parents ever did, and yet I'm still living paycheck to paycheck.

Both my parents never went to college (dad didn’t even go to HS) and they had 2 kids and a brand new built home in a nice neighborhood in the 80s.

My take … 2008-2019 was absolutely the best time in my lifetime to buy a house. Low interest, lots of homes on market d/t financial crisis of 2008.

Yupppp. Married millenials. Dual income, no kids. Both have degrees. Even debt free, we cannot afford a home. (Paid off debts in 20s, now just saving in our 30s… but for what? Unsure).
