@cnbc: TKO Group Chief Operating Officer Mark Shapiro says #WWE is no longer considering pushing #gambling legalization on its matches. It was something the company considered before the merger with UFC, but now Shapiro says it’s off the table: "It's not happening." All these comments would be shocked if they actually watched WWE and saw how many people are consistently wrong about match results

UFC is the perfect sports gambling product, both for what he said about props and because of what he implied: UFC fans and sports better Venn diagram is just a circle.

AEW Makes it work, they don’t have to based on the winner or loser of the match.

You cannot possibly do it. You’ll have WAY too many performers tempted to place some bets knowing outcomes already

There have been some bookies that have done bets on wwe matches. The bet limits are usually really low and the spreads are huge.

Kinda Interesting Things #183: The Hidden Escape Hatch At Bryant Park If you’re walking in Bryant Park, just west of the New York Public Library’s main branch, you’ll notice this rectangular plaque that’s split horizontally. But there’s more to it than meets the eye. In the late ‘80s, despite the New York Public Library’s main branch having vast storage for all its books, it was no longer enough. With a growing research collection, there were plans to relocate the overflow of books and research materials to a warehouse in New Jersey. But that would cause delays for researchers, having to transport materials back and forth across the Hudson. Instead, the Library constructed the Milstein Research Stacks: a two-story, underground book bunker with 84 miles of shelving that allows the Library to preserve more than 4 million books and archival materials — right underneath the park. The Milstein Research Stacks are connected to the Main Branch, with staff retrieving research materials via the famous book train — 24 little red trolleys built to transport books and other materials on a mini railroad trip between the stacks and circulation desks. Because the Milstein Stacks are in a fortified bunker underneath Bryant Park, emergency exits are necessary. And this is why you’ll find an escape hatch hidden in plain sight.
