To everyone saying the shock collars are cruel or mean, if they are used correctly then they aren’t. Most people including myself have it set to vibration which doesn’t hurt the pup!!

What would you do if two large reactive dogs were walking by and your dog runs up barking. Your dog cannot go to the side walk, however there is nothing to keep the two reactive dogs from attacking.

I don’t trust invisible fences. I’m worried that at some point the dog won’t care about the shock and just take off. Esp for bigger dogs. Is the shock a 1 time thing or is it continuous?

To be fair, e fences work until they don't, and sometimes aren't enough, plus they couldn't have known for sure. My shepherd got attacked by a dog that broke through their e fence.

I love my invisible fence. I have a husky and lab, live on a busy highway and they no longer need the collar bc they know the boundary. They’re happier without leash and can roam most my acreage.

Ive met dogs who have learned to run through the electric fence to get out. I genuinely would have been terrified. electric fences are not 100% secure

This is my worst fear. We don’t have a fence so she’s ecollar trained and she knows she is suppose to stay in the yard(she gets shocked when she goes out) but this is why I went ecollar and not (1)
