@officialtristynlee: โTristyn, what do you eat pre and post workout?โ ๐ค Whatโs your go to pre workout meal? ๐ Around my training I prioritize fast digesting carbohydrates with a low-moderate fat approach to maximize nutrient uptake when nutrient partitioning is optimized. In simple terms, you want to feed your muscles when theyโre most receptive to food. Pre workout I want to ensure nothing is affecting my digestion. I want all blood to go to my muscles and not to my stomach when training. Half a teaspoon of salt provides sodium which will be depleted as I train and since I havenโt done any strenuous activity since my breakfast I will still have the potassium from the banana I had earlier in my system. Caffeine from @NOCCO USA provides the energy I need and stimulates my nervous system in preparation for heavy lifting. Post workout I want to get some protein into my system quickly, but donโt want too heavy of a meal right away when my body is not in a rest and digest state, therefore I wait 90 minutes for my next meal after having 25g of whey isolate. The actual meal has fast digesting carbohydrates to facilitate replenishing of glycogen stores, boost recovery, and get ready for the next session. #bodybuilding #training #lift #gym #diet #mealplan #workout #armday #shredded #motivation #aesthetics #fyp #foryou
