I just moved from Seattle back to Houston (for family), and EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I think of leaving again and saying by to my family and going back to Seattle. It’s genuinely so much better in WA

We left DFW for MN in Summer 2023 after planning to leave casually for 4 years and concretely for 2 years. one of the hardest and saddest things I’ve ever done. I’m often homesick but don’t regret it

The way I understand this, is during the vid when my family of origin finally dealt with depression and anxiety, and I was sitting there for years of mental health issues of all kinds with no support and boom once it affected them, then it mattered. 🫂 it’s soul crushing.
