Whilst I appreciate the “I’D rather hear your story than read your obituary” it makes the suicide about the person left here. It’s very “me me me me me I I I I I”. People don’t commit suicide on a whim, the pain is so deep and strong they don’t see any other way out. So it’s a bit selfish to say “I’d rather” than “I can’t understand but I’ll try & it’s so painful to live on without you after”
