@haithamjoumaa: For the first time in history, a Syrian wins a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives (Congress). Ibrahim Hamadeh is a Syrian originally from the city of Deir Ezzor. He is 33 years old, born in Chicago, and holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Arizona. He is known for his strong stances on national security, border protection, and tax issues. He is a member of the Republican Party and is considered one of President Trump’s prominent supporters. Hamadeh trained members of the Saudi military for 14 months, after which he returned to the United States and received the Distinguished Service Medal. According to American media reports, Hamadeh received significant support from President-elect Donald Trump.
