A friend of mine literally paid 1200 like a month ago. The reason my friend agreed to pay is that he (the locksmith) insisted that it is reimboursed by Insurance. A month later, the insurers paid nothing despite the police report and the all the papers.

Can confirm, me and my partner were practically scammed by a plumber who charged us 2000 to unclog the sink, and then assured us that insurance would pay for it (it didn’t). We’re so naive lol

Important fact 🆘: never call the 17 in case of emergency… it will take forever to get someone to help you. Instead call the police of your arrondissement. They will answer quicker
