Science isn’t perfect. But is does gather provable knowledge. While we can’t use carbon dating to say EXACTLY how old the earth is, we can tell that it’s Billions not Thousands of years old.

carbon dating is accurate when tested on bodies and items with approx age like ancient relics. so if it works on bones and the spartan blade then it's working on the rocks

Carbon dating is only accurate to about 40-60 thousands years, however Uranium-lead dating can be accurate to billions of years with a precision of about 0.1-1%. The radioactive decay of uranium to lead is well documented and defined so we can very accurately date the Earth to an accuracy of around 5-50 million years (pretty small range in the scale of the age of the Earth).
