I understand her point and yes, I think music videos now are very niche, just an specific group of people will watch them. However, I also think that the quality of the video clip matters A LOT. For example, I watched "Please, Please, Please" over and over again. It's iconic! I don't really love Anitta's video clips, 'cause I don't really like the kind of content that she creates for it.

I don’t agree with her. Music videos create iconic moments and eras.

People are still watching them. They are just watching the good music videos. A lot of music videos today just suck.

it’s better to invest on tour and stage scenarios, maybe some TV show. I would love to watch the artists on vacation, together at a house, doing something different as a way to get closer to the audience showing more of their personality

yes, music videos aren't popular anymore because how we consume music has CHANGED. Artists back then made music videos because songs played on MTV (1

if u ever happen to watch a music video you do it once or twice, but a live performance it's fun, we all watch tiny desk bc it's live and different opportunity to see more of the artist personality

It's true the excitement like before is not the same because the music videos actually are not too good. And the music apps change the way.

It’s not just Anitta. Look at the views of Lady Gaga’s last music video “disease” it’s so good, but the views are so low

A real que a nova geração prefere menos telas e mais vida real, se esses artistas investissem em infraestrutura pra tour era outro cenário

i love music videos with a story, please please please is an amazing example, but reggaeton it’s just them singing the song with nothing on it, i want a STORY for the song

i disagree completely. you do it for the art. for the vision. views and adsense money should be the least on an artist’s mind. you get that money back on tour.
