@abc7chicago: Dashcam footage captured the moment a semi-truck carrying apples overturned on Interstate 84 in Boise, Idaho, on November 14. Video captured by Timothy Friel shows the truck pull into the hard shoulder of I-84 near South Eisenman Road. The truck then overturns, landing on its side. Speaking to Storyful, Friel said the truck driver was not seriously injured. “He was okay and up walking around. I jumped out and grabbed a hammer to pop the window to get him out but it wasn’t needed. Many other motorists also stopped and called 911,” he said. The accident caused the closure of one lane near milepost 61. At the time of writing, the road remained closed as crews worked to clean the apples up, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) said. “Our crew is on-site managing traffic while the apples are cleaned up. Traffic is severely backed up, so please avoid the area if possible and be patient as we work to clear things up,” the ITD said.
