It’s $14 for an entire box truck worth of food and supplies. That’s just peanuts. You’re paying way more in excess labor and gas when the roads are so congested that you’re sitting in traffic all day.

Fact: one commercial truck coming into the city will pay congestion pricing one time. But then will charge every stop a congestion price free. Hence making a profit off the congestion pricing.

As a neighbor in Jersey, we love the city, but $100 per visit just in tolls and parking, is not feasible on a disabled income. Taking the bus only gets me to PAuthority, I’ll have to take a taxi

It’s not a big deal. The real reason they are complaining is because a lot of these business owners live and queens and want to drive to manhattan instead of just taking the subway 🙄🙄🙄.

I would think the ease of movement for the delivery truck should offset the fees. They should be able to deliver to more stores in less time. Should reduce driver costs
