Because they truly believe this because the church tells them this, which makes them feel guilt and sad over not being able to save all the people they know that choose not to be religious. Like my parents, for instance, they just say they want to be with me in hegaven so they want me to be with god and Christianity religiously, I’m a teenager, but I am leaning more towards atheism with a hint of agnosticism and they keep making me go to church even though church oddly makes me feel weird like guilty and I’m continuing to not believe in it so how can I make sure I don’t get guilt
