The 90 degree hold is a pretty advanced move that looks super impressive. You’ll be lifting up your whole body with just your arms. Not to be mistaken with the elbow lever where you support your body with your elbows. This exercise mainly puts strain on the shoulders and triceps. A strong core is also required to keep your body straight.   Basic push up hold - This won’t necessarily be hard to do but it’s still a good exercise to get used to keeping your body tight.  Psuedo push up hold - The difference with a normal push up hold is that you are shifting more weight to your shoulders from your arms by putting your hands closer to your waist. As you get better and better at this exercise keep lowering your hands until they are at the same height as your waist. Your feet might even start to come off the ground without you intending to do that.  Floating psuedo push ups - you are basically doing very short versions of the 90 degree hold but using momentum to lift your legs up. Try to come down as slowly as possible to get as much air time as possible, over time you’ll get more control over this movement.  Half lay - by tucking your legs in, your hands won’t have to go as low as they would when you are doing a full 90 degree hold, which will be easier on the shoulders.
