When I’m anxious in the AM my husband brings me a coffee in bed so I can go back to sleep. I’m diagnosed and medicated. Also I wish everyone did this style video. Finally a pace I can follow. 😂

Same!!! I always have a night coffee. I can drink coffee and go to bed. I was also diagnosed as adult. Would have helped to know back in nursing school and coffee couldn’t keep me up to study 🫠😂

It fluctuates for me depending on my cycle. Most of the time caffeine works normally for me but in my luteal phase caffeine puts me to sleep. I haven’t figured out why yet lol

Yes, It works opposite on me and my pediatrician suggested caffeine for my kids before tests or times they need extra focus and the school gave them a can of coke in the office at certain times.

ADHD meds and coffee are both stimulants. Also, nicotine. New studies show cigarettes also help manage ADHD. When you need stimulants, you don’t handle them like neurotypicals.

I used to have a kid in my preschool who drank a mt. dew every morning. It was the only thing that calmed him down in the mornings. He was later diagnosed with adhd.

Caffeine/coffee is supposed to have the reverse or not the same affects on people who have ADD/ADHD as it does on people who don’t. It’s said to calm them.
