volunteer in Egypt final thoughts and recap ✨ at the beginning of my travels I was meeting new people day in and day out and I still love that but it’s taught me to appreciate the slow moments from time to time which led me to search for a way to stay in one place for a little longer without going over budget and I’ve got to say… wow did I hit the jackpot! I not only did I find a volunteer in a great outdoorsy area but in a place where there’s such a welcoming community that has made it so much harder to say goodbye 🥹 I’m so thankful to have met the entire kite surf community and my favs Molly and @robinquintin_ that’s been with me through it all 💗 Dahab itself is an extremely small city but what’s appealed to me is the outdoor activities. You can do so much here like snorkeling, scuba, free diving, kite surfing, foiling, wind surfing, quad biking, hiking, rock climbing, etc. and on those days you just want to relax you can go to a chill beach cafe. It’s honestly got almost everything you need in one place! AND it’s peaceful, that’s the best part and did I mention… the landscape is beautiful! Desert mountains contrasted with the blue water WOW ✨now how I got the volunteer gig!!!✨ I applied on WorldPackers which is a platform that connects you with companies (hostels, farms, bars, etc) all around the world that’s looking for volunteers in exchange for free accommodation and food (depending on the offer). You can check the reviews of each opportunity and the feedback of others that have done it before hand so you know what to expect!
