I’m a manager at a ford dealership in California.in California if the mechanic brings in their own tools they are paid double minimum wage which here is $32 a hour right now if they are just starting

My boss did that for me, it was gearwrench tools but still 5k worth. Every socket and wrench I could need to start out. Can’t complain about it at all
