AI is not what made Internet content pay to play. that has been the case for some time. All your search results are paid for

they can try to make ai happen in the mainstream but the truth is: putting reddit at the end of the search always gets you the answers you need from people who have had an experience 1:1 with yours

Meh, that’s just the AI hype that died in like the 90s or whenever. The real impact is going to be pattern recognition in scientific data sets. My focus is on custom protein design and AI is an invaluable tool for narrowing down that crazy huge search space down to something physically realistic for testing.

This is why when I search stuff, I add reddit into it so I know I'm getting actual human responses to my question

AI is incredibly useful, but requires a degree of responsibility these corporations have shown they just don't have! Honestly not surprised it's becoming its own enemy...

you fix this by making the companies liable for the answers their AIs give, even if they have it site sources.

If AI does actually completely fall off then that’s legit an amazing thing because I know for a fact so many people in the creative industry have either had their job/talent taken or threatened by AI

No artist, architect, musician, novelist, or... start from scratch. we all observe others creations and build from there. nobody's work is truly an original it's our rendition of learned ideas.
