I feel for you im type 2 I get sharp pains in my hands and its annoying i am trying to keep my sugar blood levels low and normal it is a challenge

I suffer with Eyrithromelalgia and it’s exactly the same as diabetic neuropathy, I feel you so much, I did and am doing the very same as you, GP just started me on Duloxatine xxx

When my sugars are high my entire body but mainly my feet and legs feel like they are on fire. My hands hurt time to time 🥺 x

Oh wow, I've heard of neuropathy but never really seen it. My feet are nearly always cold (I have socks and slippers on and they're still cold at the moment!). My hands get cold easily too

My bf is literally going through the exact same thing. Only soaking in cold water helps and he’s been soaking it almost 24/7 and now his feet gotten all swollen and wounded. He’s in the emergency rn:(

I suffer with this but I haven’t got diabetes or nerve damage and when I’ve gone for tests they all come back normal so I have no idea what’s causing mine

I was referred to a hospice nurse because my GP couldn't manage my pain. The nurse prescribed Duloxetine, which kind of helps.

I have neuropathy too but not a diabetic. Mines from damaged nerves in my spine. Its the absolute worse and i cry most nights.
