I’m the crazy person who’d rather have no days off and one two show day because i HATE two show days with a passion. And I’d rather every show be at 1pm 🤗 Pretty sure no one agrees with me!

The 2 days allows for a “get it done” day and a “do what you want” day. 😄 I would love to see the structure of Broadway shows shift to implement that for health and well-being of performers.

8 shows over 5 days is amazing!! That was our schedule at frozen in london and I loved it so much I stayed for 3 years!!! 🥰 I vote for 3 days off and 4 doubles show days!!

It depends on the show and role to be honest. I can’t imagine playing Elle Woods or Celie in Color Purple without extra rest days. But I also LOVE performing despite being hugely introverted offstage.

I work at a theatre where it’s two days off but you get hit with the double double right off the bat on Wednesday/thursday. The weekend shows feel chill after.

I worked as a tech for a professional theatre where we had two days off… but we would do 11 shows a week. 3 show Saturdays… it was wild. Injuries were frequent amongst cast and crew 😳

I was in The sound of music in Montreal in 2023. Between Christmas and New Year we had 11 shows in 6 days... we were exausted by the end of it.

I feel more spent at the end of the Chicago schedule- but I’ve only done it in a very vocally demanding track. I think my brain would rather have another one show day vs coming back to a double

Honestly, I think I would rather have the 2 days off. Gives more time to get rest, take care of your mental health, and shoot maybe even explore the city you’re in if you’re on tour!
