3 months board and train is excessive. I have heard horror stories with some board and train scenarios, please check on Maverick frequently and go visit him regularly.

Mine went for 5 months (sport dog - we're in Canada so went to the US for winter). Broke mine and my older dog's heart. Just as we got used to the routine without him, he was back

I'm crying too .. cz i had 2 dogs, one (pug) have separation anxiety. they together for 7 years. once one of our dog (kintamani) sick and nees to stay in the hospital this happened too. he just wait and wait at the door
