It’s not so much that people need to think about this, we need to KNOW about this. A lot of my vote has to do with liking RFKs arguments against these types of subsidies. I’m not a farmer, so I don’t know the details. MSM would have done a lot better focusing on these types of issues.

There are other crops that can be grown as feed grains that are perennial and regenerative. I agree that ending the subsidies immediately will inflate prices so a slower transition might be necessary
