Her wrists were so badly injured that, according to her sisters who prepared her body for burial, *"there was no skin left—just raw flesh."* *"When we undressed her, we couldn’t hold back our tears. Our mother fainted immediately. There wasn’t a single unbruised spot on her body. Not one,"* her sister cries. *"We’re sure this was t*rture. I worked as a paramedic for 30 years. These kinds of injuries don’t come from a fall or a fight. It looks like she was dr*gged on the ground—not for five minutes, but for hours,"* says Aizat’s aunt, Raushan Daurenbekova. To make matters worse, Aizat was pregnant.
