I’d get a full size bed that way yall can lay with him. Toddler beds have a weight limit and you don’t wanna exceed that weight limit

I moved my oldest into a toddler bed at 2.5 years old when she started to climb out of her crib. She was so excited and loved her new bed so much!!

We’re transitioning now, my daughter is still in sleep sacks too but your crib has a max height I believe universally is 36 inches so you probably need to transition

My son will be 2 next month and I have no intention of putting him in a toddler bed lol he doesn’t try to climb out and I just KNOW if I put him in a toddler bed, he’ll be acting a fool all night long

Cribs have a height limit of 35 inches so he’s probably over the limit. Mine hit that before turning 2 and we went straight to a double bed instead of a toddler bed and toddler proofed the room

Switched my daughter when she turned 2 in Sept. we went with a full size toddler floor bed. She loves it. She sleeps so much better. She was hitting the side of the crib because she’s so tall 1 of 2.

My twin got their ‘big kids beds’ for Christmas when they were 3.5 years old. We lived in a 1 bed flat so space was tight. Now I’d just go to a full sized double bed and skip toddler beds. Xxx

My 12/21/22 son moved to a queen mattress on the floor with safe toys in the room / baby proofed the room still. When he wakes up he 1) lays in bed or 2) gets up and plays as he pleases until we go in

My son was born Oct 2022 never tried climbing out but it was time. Got him a floor bed. Love that we can lay with him if he needs us.

We actually kept the toddler mattress and got one of those Walmart toddler floor character beds. He actually flipped out of it at 18 months and that’s when we switched! :) he slept better too!

My daughter just turned two today and she has been in a full size bed for about a month and it’s been the best decision! We can lay with her if she needs but she loves her bed and is excited!

I switched to a toddler bed like a month before my daughter's second birthday just because I felt like it one day. she wasn't climbing out, she does great with it.

Twin bed or full bed 1000%. We switched to a twin at 15 months because our son climbed out every night 🥲

If he's not climbing out keep him in. We moved my son out too early. We regressed sleep wise alot.

We moved my daughter to a floor bed right after she turned two bc she wouldn’t stop climbing out of her crib. I would’ve kept her in the crib as long as possible if she hadn’t started escaping

Twin beds and mattresses are safe from 2 years old so I’d personally put him straight into a twin bed. I did it with my daughter, we bought a bed guard to prevent rolling off until a bit older 🩵

baby won't be 2 until the end of January, she sleeps in a full size bed, her frame is like a Montessori bed but it's not on the floor. it's way better than the toddler bed we got her.
