@meghannmcuniff: Jurors are deliberating in the YSL gang racketeering conspiracy trial in Atlanta, Georgia, today and they asked a few questions this morning that indicate they're sorting through the evidence. They wanted to see surveillance footage from the Donovan Thomas murder investigation of defendant Deamonte "Yak Gotti" Kendrick at the Texaco gas station. They also asked about the missing Richard Mille watch that Kendrick's lawyer Doug Weinstein brought up in trial. Drake gave it to Young Thug as a birthday gift and Weinstein alleges it went missing during the May 2022 raid on Thug’s home that led to his arrest. The question indicates they don't know the watch is Young Thug's and at least some jurors think it might be Yak Gotti's. This could be relevant to the case because Yak is accused of possessing marijuaa that was found in the house during the same raid. By bringing up the watch, Weinstein may have given jurors a way to better connect his client to the items in the home. Weinstein says it's about the credibility of the police and Judge Whitaker agrees, but jurors may not see it that way. You can watch more about the watch here @Meghann Cuniff.
