It’s so hard but I always try to focus on the love I was able to give my hospice dogs I take in no matter how short that time was. Lots of cheeseburgers and cuddles! I’m so sorry!

I am so sorry for your loss. I’m convinced that even in this state they know you care. If it feels right in the future — would you talk more about making this decision? I’m dealing with what sounds like the same thing (spiraling dementia with some weird neurological symptoms) and have truly no idea what to do. Thank you for being such an amazing senior dog mama.

I’m so sorry. There’s nothing worse than coming to this time. She knows, she will always know. My 1st dog I had for less than 2 years but that time was so magical together. She died having been loved.
