I did this but it was weird cuz they weren’t cracked when I put them in the pot but every egg had the egg seeping out and there was a visible crack once the water started boiling ☹️

The small crack does work good but so does adding them to boiling water for 10-12 minutes, take them out let em rest 5 min, the ice bath 10 min. will peel perfectly every time

I tried this today & every single one that made that noise had a tiny crack in the shell, plus they had bubbles float upwards when they were put in water.

Thank you for the peeling hack! I like mine fully fully cooked. I like to bring to a boil, turn off the heat, cover and leave 20 minutes then plunge into cold water.

Tried this many times, but always oozed out in my water. I now use an egg piercer and I have no problems with my eggs any longer.
