Hate when they do this. Worked at Krogers in the deli, told them in my interview after a date I couldn’t work days. Schedule came out, was scheduled entire week for days. Quit the next day.

I had this issue w/Target. Told them at hiring I'd need to be off days by a certain date bc school started. They scheduled me, then said I can't change available for first 90 days /1

had something similar happen. schedule changed ... was able to start working Sundays, but only til 3 cause...busses are messed up running weekends. nearly every. time. had to remind mgr I couldn't

reminds me of when I had my every other week then weekly ob appointments. my dr was only in office tuesday-thursday I was trying to keep it simple for everyone and have tuesdays be my set day off.

i hate when the scheduling person ignores availability. i’m still in college which my employer knew when i got the job. when my classes changed with the semester, i told the scheduling manager and she STILL scheduled me when i had class. even though i know the software she uses to make the schedules informs her when she’s trying to schedule me (or anyone else) outside of their availability

So, I’m chronically ill and have AT LEAST one appointment with a healthcare professional every Wednesday. I schedule all my appointment’s on a Wednesday so my boss knows I’m available to work every other day except Wednesdays. She’s a fantastic boss and I’m willing and happy to go above and beyond because I know my boss has my back. It’s really not hard to be a good manager 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏻♀️and in return you’ll get dedicated employees. Why do some of them not understand that
