The sad thing is, I actually can’t remember where I found the red 70’s velvet coat, but I know I paid under $100 for it which is insanity when you think about what you get for a high street coat around the same price. The tambour lace Edwardian skirt I found at @pickwickvintage back in the day when it was still held at the gardens and I paid $120 for it. When I left I may as well have floated back to my car I was so elated. I had tried and failed to find a skirt just like this one for my wedding day and had never let the hunt go. Long after I became a wife I was still regularly checking @etsy and @ebay just incase one miraculously appeared. Tambour lace is so old and so fragile that a skirt like this is nearly impossible to find. The workmanship in the embroidery alone is truly something to behold. It’s remarkable.
