Also it could be that the sweater / scarf is fibers are not settled & shedding— which can be fixed by putting it in a plastic bag and in the freezer for 24 hours to get the fibers to settle! xx

My personal fave is to *slightly*dampen my hands with water, and brush my hands down the coat. Much quicker
