@girlgoneabroad: Give Athens a few days, ok? 💙 I’ve explored this ancient, electric city several times now and it never disappoints. It’s laidback, steeped in history, and full of incredible bars and restaurants. With coastal gems a short drive away as well, it really is a destination worthy of more than a stopover. Which brings me to my next point - don’t sleep on the rest of mainland Greece, either! 🇬🇷 Some of my personal favorites: ✨ Meteora – breathtaking monasteries perched on cliffs. ✨ Nafplion – charming streets and a Venetian fortress. ✨ Pelion – where mountains meet the sea. ✨ Metsovo – a cozy mountain village with incredible food. ✨ Parga – colorful coastal beauty straight out of a postcard.
