I think people in comments are missing the nuance of undiagnosed ADHD as a child plus acting out due to ACE experiences leading to substance misuse and adrenaline seeking behaviour.

It’s a tough one. I understand the issue… but adhd or not, it’s irrelevant when it comes to crimes. We all know right from wrong. If we choose wrong that’s on us. Very few exceptions.

There are studies around other neurological differences like dyslexia too. Along with brain injury.... makes you think we need to rehabilitate people better!

No medication = hence the offending. Don’t really agree. It’s down to how you are raised and class / wealth. My dad brother and myself all adhd / audhd. None medicated. None have committed crimes 🤔

I have ADHD and I've never been in prison. It's a choice to break the law. I choose not to. They choose to do so.

Mediation is not always the answer and it also demands on your ACEs and what you are exposed to family dynamics internal and external factors any other comorbidities company you keep so on 😞
