I think it’s a combination. We feel unseen, and also starved for physical affection. The physical drives it, but the attention makes us feel better as a whole.

This is SO true. I tried dating but they trauma dumped, love bombed, and then bounced when I said I wasn't going to allow it. They are desperate for fast and fake "connection". I'm done dating
