I was the same way it’s like a sensory thing, if it doesn’t feel right on my helmet it throw everything off, even if it’s a tiny difference, it’s gotta feel the same lol

Or, hear me out. He wants his hair to lay down cause if it goes the other way, it goes against the natural flow, and it'll itch like crazy when he takes it off. It happens to my linger socks, too.

I used to untie and retie and take my wrestling shoes off and put them back on and take them off. Had more to do with any subtle annoyance throwing my head space off. No distractions

yeah a lot of these points are valid as to why he's doing that... also... sometimes, with a helmet and hair, u just want the fit to be comfy and not feel "off" once the helmet flattens ur hair.
