My parents were like that too, and I hated it as a kid. But now as an adult with children, I would do anything to give my culture to them and by doing so I strengthen my culture and religion.

I’ve definitely noticed that when you’re in your country with your heritage and culture ppl forget about it a lot whereas for me I grew up without that so I hold on to it with my whole being 💔
