lol I've been in this situation multiple times. usually I just say "dear lord, thank you for this food and for this family you have given me. bless each of us to have many good days and many good nights. thank you, amen." idk I'm a polytheistic pagan and don't believe in the Christian God so I say what will make the masses happy

My family is very religious im not i was forced to go to church till 18/19 and they only tried to make me do prayers once, it was the first and last. also i keep my eyes open every single time 🤣

Is this dealt how it goes?These people ONLY go to church. Not Christian per se but I took a lot of joyful time with some nice Christians on some events and,NO ONE should be forced to pray out loud.Theres also a verse that says that it should come from your heart,that meant this was honestly the most perfect prayer I ever heard to be honest
