Nvidia lucked out as they were the primary gpu maker and that lends itself perfectly to AI chips. They therefore have years head start over Intel etc who will never catch up.

Intel is done, for the past 20 some yrs Intel only boosted CPU speed while nvda built an AI eco system. gelsinger was an EE turn manager n lost his creatives in transition. Sad day for Intel.

The issue with Intel is the board itself, it’s littered with DEI hires. Many who sit on the board came over from academia and have zero experience in chip manufacturing.
