@thetimes: The number of people with food allergies in the UK has more than doubled since 2008, with more than 5,000 people a year hospitalised in England with food anaphylaxis, a life-threatening allergic reaction.The UK’s food allergy charity is named after Natasha Ednan-Laperouse, who died aged 15 from a severe allergic reaction to sesame in a baguette in 2016.
