@hannahbower2: Replying to @mebruins The pendelum has swung to “you can do whatever you did pre-pregnancy” which is true but that includes continuing exercises with major pressure mismanagement. I personally, choose to modify when I see my body handling pressure management with coning, straining or heavy pressure on my pelvic floor. Its just additonal stress to an already taxed system. These tissues are resilient but intense repetative mismanaged pressure can (not always) and does contrubute to worse DR & pelvic floor symptoms. When theres alternatives I can so with same benefits for this short season! I bought your pregnancy breathing guide, but still really having a hard time determine if I am doing it right! Any advice? I want to make sure I’m using proper engagement while pregnant

Hannah Bower :
Don’t fear coning or leaking, or mismanaged pressure, it’s just feedback. It tells us our body can’t handle that current threshold of pressure. There’s a lot you can do to disperse & manage it.
