Those kids will grow up and decide what kind of care their parents will get in their golden years. I always let my kids eat first and ate their leftovers. They fight over who will take care of me now.

I just bought my son a new jacket. it was $200 . and I will buy him a new one when that one doesn't fit. because he needs to be warm in the winter and there is no cost too much for warmth .

no bc i was walking around in the dead of winter in UT with massive holes in my shoes but my grandparents couldn't help bc 1 my mom's kids weren't active in the church and 2 they wanted to give their money to the church instead

My dad wasn't perfect, but he never ate until his kids had their fill. He took us out to share a burger meal as a treat and pretended he wasn't hungry bc he didn't have enough to feed himself as well.

I’m Christian, no kids yet but my family never did none of this. My mother fed my brother and I before her and then if money was left over thought what to do then the other way around.
