@bevsbybeverly: Day 4 of 12 Days of Batched Cocktails ☕️🍫🎄 Batched Mezcal Hot Chocolate (Serves 10) Ingredients: 6 whole milk 2 cups heavy cream 1½ cups chopped dark chocolate (2 bars, 70% cocoa or higher) ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder ½ cup brown sugar (or to taste) 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 cinnamon sticks ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional) 1 ½ cups mezcal Whipped cream and chocolate shavings, for garnish In a crockpot, combine the milk, heavy cream, chopped dark chocolate, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. Stir to mix. Set the crockpot to low heat and cook, stirring occasionally to ensure the chocolate melts evenly and doesn’t stick to the sides. Once the hot chocolate is smooth and warmed through, stir in the mezcal. Let it heat for an additional 15 minutes on low. Ladle the hot chocolate into mugs.
