@doctormeki: A little background for all of my followers, I had a an untraditional path to medicine. My gap years were mostly unexpected experiences, including retaking my MCAT, quitting my job, minimal research experience, traveling to Boston for two months to do a quality improvement project and so on. I had no formal or structured projects that I felt passionate about besides my overarching global health interests and strong personal story of why I was interested in medicine.
